Well we're heading back to the studio and were thinking of incorporating more Phygrian rather than just Mixolydian, Dorian and Pentatonic like we have so far, and i was wondering if this might be a healthy switch.

If you feel that a particular part of your song needs it then please do so. i feel that a lot of bands would sound more interesting if they would incorporate more different modes. but do it if the song needs it, not just because you can. |
