The result is fantastic. The new drummer is much better, of course Mike is Also good, but with Mike Mangini's drumming I do not get bored, with portnoy everything was always the same.

ADToE is Amazing. If I was to choose only one Dream Theater cd to listen for the rest of my life, I would choose ADToE.

Congratulations to the band. I think the next CD will be the Best Dream Theater CD of all time.

I love the new album, it is great. The band definitely can play with out MP. But with that being said, nothing will ever replace those albums with Portnoy, thats just fact. I love the new album favorite song is Breaking All Illusions but nothing will live up to the Mike Portnoy stuff. My opinion

The songs are absolutely amazing on this album. However, I'm very disappointed with the mastering job. Not too sure what happened there but it only makes the album half as good as it should be... They should plan a re-master in the near future.

ADTOE is their best album in a long time, IMO. The songwriting and lyrics are excellent. Myung should be forced to write at least one song on every album from here on in!

I think Mangini did a great job here. He didn't write any of the drum parts, so hopefully he'll have some more creative input into that next time around. He worked well with what Petrucci had written for him, though.

Technically, I think Mangini probably is better than Portnoy. Of course, the previous DT albums are classic, and no one can take MP's great achievements away from him.

Best album they've done yet.

I think ADTOE is amazing, but I'm not sure if I can say it's as good as the great albums albums Octavarium and Metropolis pt. 2 scenes from a memory. (my favourites). With that said I love the new album as well. I just think Dream Theater has so much epic and amazing music that it's probably hard to make something better.. (even for them).
