=StupendousMan said:I just got off the phone with someone from Omega Order and they said Roadrunner was late getting them out. They are physically getting theirs tomorrow and shipping them so probrably another week until it arrives. I told the guy it was bullshit that the release is tomorrow and they should have timed the shipping so it arrives the same day of release. He agreed but said it was out of their hands as RR dropped the ball on this. He did tell me the digital download codes should be emailed this afternoon so its not a complete loss. Just have to wait and see now.

Yep... this is bullshit. The DL codes should have been sent out ASAP especially with this bad news. I didn't really want my first listen of this album to be an mp3, but there's no way I can wait another 2 weeks.

Ugghh... this afternoon? :(
I work in a job where we send out mass emails to donors very regularly, and the software we use lets us set up weeks or months in advance the exact time and date we want the email to come out. I wonder why they couldn't set this up to be an exact 24-hours before release kind of thing. Oh well...

This is just B.S....Didn't they have this thing on pre sale for 50-60 day's ago,and they still can't get there act together. This is just brutal....spend a lot of money on this...and this is the type of service we get. If anything they could have send out an e-mail saying there were having issues. But not one word from RR...very disappointed.

Just got an email from Omega (handling the distribution) with my download code. Although, I'm not thrilled with the delay... I'm very happy that I can DL this in FLAC!

REGARDING THE PHYSICAL ALBUM!

A message directly from Roadrunner:

Due to a manufacturing issue, the Dream Theater A Dramatic Turn Of
Eve! nts deluxe box sets have been slightly delayed. This was a quality
issue and Dream Theater, Roadrunner Records, and The Omega Order want
to ensure the best possible audio experience for the new album to its
fans. The product will arrive to our warehouses later this week and
we will start shipping all orders upon arrival. We apologize for the
delay, but would not want to provide an inferior product in its place.
Your download code for A Dramatic Turn Of Events is below so you can
enjoy the album in its entirety a day before it’s released to retail.
We apologize for the inconvenience, and will have your physical order
out to you as soon as possible.

The digital download I received was 320Kbps MP3, not FLAC.

There is a dropdown where you can select various file types... I did not notice it at first, but it is there.

I also called this morning. They have my order on record and said everything was fine, why it doesn't show up on line..? What they should do is provide priority shipping free due to the screw up. And I'm still waiting for my code.....

Update...got an email from "Nick", said my order was in the system and finally sent me my download code. Although I really appreciate the help, it's all a little ridiculous that I have to get customer service involved.
