Dream Theater

Hello guys. I'm from Romania, but since Hungary is one of my country's neighbours, it would have been foolish of me not to take part in the magnificent concert event at the end of this week.
Friday will be my last day of exams for this term and I couldn't think of a better way to celebrate than going to my absolute favourite band's show!
I do have a question: what are the chances of my backpack being confiscated at the entrance of Budapest Sports Arena, if it doesn't contain any of the usual concert prohibited' items, like umbrellas?...and sharp objects, binoculars, drugs and alcoholic beverages? The only chances for me and my mother (with whom I'm going and is a huge DT fan:>) to get to the event in time is to go directly from the airport, where our plane arrives no later than 7:00 PM local time, to the venue...or so I think. If you have any opinions would like to share, please fel free to do so.

Try phoning the venue to check. There might even be somewhere to store your backpack. Great that your mother is going too. Have a great time.

@northy: I thank you a lot for the advice....but, interestingly enough, a dramatic turn of an event happened to me yesterday:)) because of some bad choices with airline tickets and Mother Nature (karma, aren't you a b***h...), it's impossible for me to get to the Budapest concert in time... so, if anyone is desperate for 2 first category tickets (I suppose they're VIP seats, I ordered them from eventim.hu and were the most expensive ones: both in sector 102, row C, seats 8 and 9). They are 15,000 FT each, but I really just want to get rid of them, so I'm selling them for 10,000 FT (or 35 euros each). The concert's this Friday and I'm not very hopeful for this possible transaction...but I suppose it's worth the try.

I just want to thank the band for the fantastic show in Budapest, it was a great experience(also my first DT gig), I'm still under the spell of it! Hope to see you soon.
