Did DT ever address the charting question?

First post here ..

I was wondering if anyone has read any interviews where DT has addressed the new album being written off of the same charts as I&W. I personally think it is really cool and I have noticed it after reading that article that was floating around the net.

It garnered a lot of attention on Bmouth but for all the wrong reasons. Very cool concept if it actually gets confirmed. The album is completely awesome.

Does it matter? I mean for professionals, perhaps..... But for us, the fans, it's just the music that should matter. Not some stupid musical theoretical piece of $#i7.... And all in all, the new album is awesome! So whether it gets confirmed or not, I really do not care! I just like it!

It's not like too theoretical actually... It's just the song structures following the same pattern as some songs from I&W. I think it's pretty cool, actually. At times, I find this similarities and I'm like "hey! that really sounds like *insert song's name here*!" and, well, it's pretty fun

Someone likes DragonForce in here?

i think the most noticeable comparisons were otboa-pull me under and this is the life-another day. but i love all four of those songs so i dont care :P
I&W is a great album, so is ADToE, so i support these comparisons, i just think that they aren't all spot on like the two above

Our music comes from going with the flow, following our instincts, and writing the best album we possibly could!
It's so interesting how people get so analytical with things!

Personally, there are a lot of us including myself that don't think the whole chart thing should have been made into such a big issue. Most of us are just very grateful for the awesomeness of the new album without trying to find things to nit pick about. We should be leaving the musical analysis to DT, that's your job, and we fans should just put our feet up and enjoy, that's our job!
