The New album leaves me speechless!!! You can feel the energy, passion, and love for what you guys do. Mike Mangini....you are an animal. I could not be happier with you being the new drummer for the next chapter in DTs story. You guys killed it, best album to date in my opinion!! Have the box set on order and i will see you guys in NY James... your voice is epic! John P and John M... Beastly is all i can say. Rock on forever guys!

A Dramatic Turn of Events is a masterpiece. I listen to it constantly, and each time I fully enjoy it. Imo, the only imperfection is that by ending the album with "Beneath the Surface" is very sad. Don't get me wrong, I love "Beneath the Surface" I even associate a period of my life with the lyrics, but each time the album ends I feel sad.

I can't get enough... I blast it everywhere I go. I was cruising in my truck the other day, was at a light and some dude got my attention to ask who that was, he said it sounds amazing..... I told him DREAM THEATER and A Dramatic Turn Of Events. he wanted to check them out asap.

I got the standard cd edition of the album on September 13, from my local music store. What can i say, this is a great return to form.

I was so sad when Mr.Portnoy left the band but this album is a very powerful chapter in Dream Theater's history.

Mike Mangini you are a great drummer !!!
