I was struck at a DT concert once how there were 60 yo people next to 20 yo's. I thought it was amazing how DT brings so many different generations together. So I'm curious about the actual fan base age mix. |

My mom's 78 and she like them, but when I was young, she always went to all the concerts and rocked out. Thing is, she was always a big classical music fan. Since Dream Theater music is classically oriented structured it was an easy transition for her. That's probably the hook for me as well, since I heard all her classical growing up as well. I've just always liked my music "complicated". |

Poll won't let me vote at the moment (new website issues), but either way I'm 17. I've been into DT since about 2009 and they've been my favourite band ever since. And I'm new here too (as I'm assuming we all are... brand new forum and all.)
