Dream Theater

I like Systematic Chaos, had some great parts and some bad parts, but still an iconic album to me. The first new dream theater album i got into since i started liking the band. Train of Thought is still the king of the metal side of DT to me, but SC has some great songs and great parts. I must know how to play 2/3 of it on guitar now, playing the entire 25 minutes of ITPOE is just epic.

Some people just don't like anything remotely Metal about DT and like only the progressive part about them, and then others are the complete opposite. The last 3 albums have very mixed opinions because of this, but to be honest DT is still going strong and creating great music, regardless of how heavy/progressive it is.
