Careful with that axe, Eugene! ;)

I'll contribute first by showing my pictures from Roger Waters show in Berlin in June. It was amazing!!! The Wall is my favorite album of all time and I really enjoyed listening to it live and with such amazing, theatrical performance:

Love me some Floyd! Greatest band of all time, period! DT is next though.

I'm a huge fan of the Meddle thru Animals period, with DSOTM being the best complete album and Animals being some of the greatest moments in prog history and Gilmour's best work. The Wall is great also, but not quite par with the previous period.

Sadly, I never got to see them in concert.

Nice Pics, Hprog! I wish I could have gone to the show in Mexico City. I really am hoping for a return to latinamerica.

Is anyone here getting the Discovery boxset? I want to know if the remasters are really that worth it. Same with the Immersion editions.

Some of my mates are going to the Roger Waters concert. I was offered but i turned it down a) because of the price, and b) because Roger Waters is my least favourite member of Pink Floyd lol. Seeing just him doing The Wall, to me, is just not the same as the real thing. I understand that at that point in the band, it was basically his band, but still... it's just not Pink Floyd.

The first band I saw in concert way back in 1994! To this day, still the best show I've seen. Also, Animals is a underrated album... Division Bell is way, waaaay underrated album.

songwriting wise most of it is Waters tix are $$$ but it's a big concert to put on, esp. bringing it all the way to OZ.

edit: drop2d - i'd pick Animals over DSOTM, Gilmour's guitar on Dogs is amazing, he's one of my fav. guitarist \m/

Yeah I know about it all being Rogers; hence another reason why, dare I say it, The Wall is not one of my most favourite albums of theres. It's got great moments, but there are other albums which just trump it IMO.

Oh and I DEFINITELY agree at the underratedness of the Division Bell. If people gave it a chance and actually sat down and listened to it its got some of Gilmour's greatest moments on the guitar.
