Hi folks

The Wall: My favourite PF album, by far. I'm going to the Dodge' shows in Sydney next year.

I'm surprised there's no mention of the immersion sets here. I bought DSOTM day 1 from JB - an outstanding set. Couple of things could have been done differently however in the main it is exceptional. I've ordered WYWH immersion from Amazon uk as it is *much* cheaper than JB here in Oz. Will probably do the same when once of the greatest albums of all time is released early next year in its immersion goodness. I have the SACD of DS, to have it on dvd/blu-ray is fantastic also.

Dogs: A brilliant song. Love the lyrics, Dave's guitar...simply amazing and up there with the best songs they have ever done. And a great performance on the In The Flesh album/dvd.

A couple of mine: Echoes is amazing and to have it on Gdansk and A Night To Remember...WOW. Both incredible. Of the Dodge-less Floyd, Sorrow and High Hopes are my fave's from the two studio albums.

I just realized the reply I posted days ago didn't appear.
Oh joy.

@bugsyoz: How good is the unreleased material? WYWH is the only immersion I'm seriously considering getting.

@BigBunny: Thanks :D. Already have my tickets. I hope you enjoy the show. The wait is definitely going to be worth it.

Trust us.

April 9, 1994, Mexico city. That was the date of my conception. Best concert ever, period.

Heya Deep_Blue

They are fantastic. Somewhat expensive however you can find them reasonably priced at amazon (unlike the Station to Station box set, which while amazing is very pricey). The main music shop in Oz charges $150aud or so, I grabbed them around $50 cheaper from amazon.

As for the sets themselves, outstanding. Only thing missing I would say is vinyl. Yes, you get something like 4 or 5 some versions of the album - but there's a certain magic to that. Listen to the 5.1, or the original mono. Each to their own. The Wish set is kinda unique in that you get early versions of Dogs and Sheep live. Been around on boots for ever but to have them well produced is outstanding. Plenty of filler in the boxes, happy to discuss.

Rogers Waters: The Wall Live, Sydney 15/02/2012

Quite possibly the best concert I've ever seen.
