Pull me Under from GH World Tour. The I got Images and Words and I fell in love with Metropolis pt. 1. Then I noticed there was a Metropolis pt. 2. then I got into the whole Meta-Album thing where the end sound or note from one album leads into the next.

1992 - My best friend at the time told me about this band he had seen while he was in Nebraska. Let me borrow Images And Words. I was blown away. Then that December they were coming to a nearby venue, and the cost of the show was either a donation for Toys For Tots or $1.00. They blew me even farther away live. Been a fan ever since.

Its pretty embarrasing but I discovered Dream Theater while playing Guitar Hero three years ago, the song was Pull Me Under, I was instantly hooked from there

@guaty: That's not embarrassing. Guitar Hero turned a lot of people onto great artists. GH turned me onto System of a Down, Metallica, the Sword, An Endless Sporadic, Aerosmith.

Forsaken music video on TV lol, thats how I found out about DT 4 years ago. Just listened to that a couple of songs till 2009 but then I started loving the whole SC album, then ToT, then Octavarium, and then I listened to everything. After many many many many many listens of all albums, I conclude (for myself ofcourse) Awake to be the ultimate album and Change of Seasons to be the best song :)

It was 2003 for me when train of thought was released, one of my friends loved dream theater but i never really took any interest until i heard as i am. The amazing sound of John Petrucci over whelmed me and ever since i've been hooked. DT is probably one of the most amazing bands ever!!

I was shown the Dark Eternal Night in studio video by a friend in 2008, and I was instantly impressed with their technical proficiency, but it wasn't until I'd bought Images and Words that I became addicted. Take the Time was, is, and forever will be my favourite song.
