This question should be tricky to answer but to me it isn't, cause one of their songs stands out in a way that makes it the best by far in my book and that would be Octavarium. I don't think a better song will be written, ever.

=WHATISYOURFAVORITEDTSONG said:GREETING FROM BRAZIL That's what every beginner thinks, I thought like this too. But with the time, you will understand that Pull Me Under is not Dream Theater. My favourite is probably A Change of Seasons. Top ten is like this: (not in order) - A Change of Seasons - Octavarium - Metropolis Pt. 1 - Learning to Live - In the Name of God - Home - The Dance of Eternity - Six Degrees of Inner Turbulance - Lost Not Forgotten - Breaking All Illusions |

Like several posters have said, there are so many great ones, how do you pick? Most of my favorites have been mentioned already, but one of the ones I just can't get enough of listening to that nobody has mentioned so far is Peruvian Skies. James's voice, the slow buildup, and finally the all out crunch of the song blow me away. I also like Forsaken. Can't help it, I love the piano intro and outro, and Petrucci's riffing in that song. And again, Jame's voice when he screams out "I have to know your name...Where have I seen your face before?" I get chills thinking about it now. |

Anna Lee, or more specifically, the bridge to Anna Lee. Yes, the song is very much a Queen tribute, but something magic happens in that bridge that never fails to slay me... |
