I think the setlist will be something like this:

On the Backs of Angels
Build Me Up / Break Me Down
These Walls
Under a Glass Moon
Peruvian Skies
The Great Debate
Bridges In the Sky
Outcry
Drum Solo/
YtseJam
Far From Heaven
Breaking All Illusions

Lol I forgot ADTOE stuff!

On the Backs of Angels
Build Me up, Break Me down
Far From Heaven
Bridges in the Sky
Breaking All Illusions

And although I (and some others on here) have painstakingly requested Space Dye Vest, I seriously doubt they'll ever play it live. To my memory, they did it ONCE, last year, in a small concert with just James and Jordan. It was a great performance of the song. Jordan obviously put his Jordanisms into it, which unfortunately degraded the piece a little bit for me, but besides that, it sounded great.

But they've always said that that was always Kevin's song, hence why they've never played it live properly as Dream Theater.

--- The Setlist I would only dream of hearing when they come to Toronto on October 6th, 2011, but I will settle for whatever they give me

appx. show start time: 7:30 p.m.
appx. show finish time: 11:00 p.m.

1. A Nightmare to Remember
2. Under a Glass Moon
3. Build me up, Break me Down
4. Rudess solo (3-4 mns)
5. Outcry
6. Caught in a Web
7. Mangini solo (3-4 mns)
8. Learning to live

------- INTERMISSION ( 30 minutes)--------

9. Bridges in the Sky
10. One Last Time/ Spirit Carries On
11. Dark Eternal Night
12. In the Name of God

---- ENCORE------

13. Metropolis pt.1
14. Beneath the Surface
15. Breaking all Illusions

--- average song time: lets call it 11 minutes, that's a 2 hour, 45 minute set (11 mns x 15 songs), with an intermission. song breaks may add up to 15-20 minutes....they could do it!!!!! (there would not be time for an opener though). I saw Rush (who is older than DT), on their last tour follow a similar format. it was around 3.5 hours with an intermission.

additional note...... would really love to hear a change of seasons and six degrees (with an orchestra) in they're entirety live one day, but this list is just for the upcoming tour.

Hoping for a few songs off the new album

@shimjuan: Bro, the sound of the recording is NOT solely a function of the playing by MM on the record, but mostly just the mixing of the drums. I agree the drums are soft and sterile, but that's because 1 - They used a new producer/engineer on the album, and 2- MM literally played on this album like ONE MONTH after joining the band, and it's not entirely his style of playing. Petrucci wrote the drum parts, so take it up with him (and hope he doesn't put you in a headlock with those guns of his when you tell himCheers!

Those are hell of some lists you guys have there!

I've seen DT live 4 times and now I really look forward to the new songs live, especially Outcry, Breaking All Illusions and Bridges in the Sky.

From the old ones, I've never heard The Mirror live, and it's one of my favorites, but they might not play it again because of you-know-whom. Other than that, these would be my special requests, so to say:

Metropolis Pt. I (my favorite DT song of all time, I heard it live once but played in a medley with Pull Me Under)
Learning to Live
Scarred
Space Dye Vest
Trial of Tears
Home
6DOIT (the whole thing hehehe)
As I Am (I heard it live once, but it's not enough)
I Walk Beside You (ditto)

Greetings,

Henry

To Tame a Land (a great cover!!!)
Outcry
Lost Not Forgotten
This Is the Life
Scarred
Space-Dye Vest (it would be a 1st, but it would be just great, almost divine sounding)
