@shimjuan: Bro, the sound of the recording is NOT solely a function of the playing by MM on the record, but mostly just the mixing of the drums. I agree the drums are soft and sterile, but that's because 1 - They used a new producer/engineer on the album, and 2- MM literally played on this album like ONE MONTH after joining the band, and it's not entirely his style of playing. Petrucci wrote the drum parts, so take it up with him (and hope he doesn't put you in a headlock with those guns of his when you tell him |

The songs I really want to see are - Learning to Live, Hells Kitchen, Trial of Tears and The Glass Prison. But I doubt we will get to see TGP. |
