DREAM THEATER CHARITY AUCTION SERIES TO BENEFIT
CAMP GOOD DAYS AND SPECIAL TIMES
"IRON MIKE" PORTNOY ROBE UP FOR AUCTION

(Syracuse, NY) - Progressive metal trailblazers Dream Theater have launched a charity auction series in conjunction with Camp Good Days and Special Times. Camp Good Days and Special Times is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for children, adults and families whose lives have been touched by cancer and other life threatening challenges. Camp Good Days facilitates residential camping experiences at their recreational facility in Branchport, New York and year-round support activities. All proceeds collected from these auctions will be donated to the charity and will be used to support the many programs and services offered. The band will continually donate a variety of memorabilia to the charity until June 2008 and the items will be available for auction via eBay.

The next item to enter the auction is drummer Mike Portnoy's "Iron Mike" boxing robe. Portnoy has famously worn this black Everlast boxing robe for his curtain call during the band's last three world tours and can be seen wearing it on "Live at the Budokan," "Score" and "In Constant Motion" DVDs.

This item will be up for auction from October 16 through October 26, 2007 with a starting bid of $200. 100% of proceeds collected from this auction will be donated to Camp Good Days.

The current item up for auction is a lithograph of the "Systematic Chaos" Cover Art, signed and numbered by the artist, Hugh Syme. This litho is also autographed by all five members of Dream Theater.

Details:

- The print, in its' entirety, is 17" tall by 15" wide.
- The actual artwork is 12"x12".
- There is a white border surrounding the artwork (1.5" around the top and sides, 3.5 inches along the bottom where the signatures are).
- Hugh Syme, artist, has signed and numbered this print.
- This print is #12 of 50 total.
- The print can be shipped framed or unframed. Cost of shipping is paid by winning bidder.
- There is a slight crinkle in the bottom left corner of the litho (as can be seen in the close up photo).
