How different will the setlist be this summer?

I know on this tour the setlist has been constant, as opposed to the traditional different set every night thing.

I'm pretty sure anyone seeing them in round 2 of touring North America who saw them last fall would like a different setlist than last time. I'd still be happy seeing them play the exact same songs, but anyone else hoping for as little repetition as possible?

I am taking my entire family this time to Grand Prarie,Tx. Last time it was just me and my 11 year old daughter. This time my 9 year old son and my wife are also coming. We are all stoked!!

Was an ABSOLUTE great show back in October( the night the Rangers choked game 6 of The World Series). Somehow I hope that they can 1 up it. From their new album I would love to hear again Bridges In The Sky, Outcry, and Breaking All Illusions. I hope that they add This Is Life and play Far From Heaven for us this time. From other Dream Theatre albums we would also love to hear Ministry of the Lost Souls, Anna Lee, As I Am and Pull Me Under( we didnt get it last time). Finally from my daughters & my favorite Dream Theatre Album we would REALLY REALLY like to hear Octavarium, The Answer Lies Within and our ALL time Favorite: Sacrificed Sons.

Whatever they play we know it will be done with total class and the best musicianship. Cant wait!!!

I agree with you Coop I really hope they play Breaking all illusions, bridges in the sky, outcry, Count of Tuscany would be cool and something from systematic and black clouds would be nice..... Lost not forgotten will be fun to watch.. I will be at the Detroit and Chicago show cant wait!! I hope MM does a drum solo again ..

I hope they will play at least SOMETHING from black clouds and silver linings! I mean comon that was one of their best albums and the arent playing a single song. also get rid of 6;00 and caught in a web and put in PANIC ATTACK and THE COUNT OF TUSCANY. for some reason they dont like playing panic attack or something. also count of tuscany is my all time favorite. also I wouldnt miss build me up break me down much either.

The end of the current setlist is confounding to me - Breaking All Illusions as the last song and then Pull Me Under for the encore?!?!?!? If they must play Pull Me Under then it should REALLY be the other way 'round.

I'm seeing them this round 2 back to back. I wouldnt care if they played the same songs, but im pretty sure it will be different, with some similarities. I really hope to hear Bridges again, but it was a really cool blast from the past hearing Caught In A Web last year. Im sure Mangini has had time to lesrn and practice more songs, which im sure is why they decided to stick to a 2 setlist rotation with little differences last year. Im expecting the same style, 2, maybe 3 setlist rotation, but probably with variety. Like i said in my other post, id be happy with anything they play :) its all greatness to me, from images to octavarium to train of thought and black clouds. To me the new album is top 2-3 for me also.
