What musical direction would you like to hear on the next album? Recently, John P. wrote an article in Guitar World about a lesson he learned from a violinist on tour. Classical music has been the most respected form of music for the past several hundred years. Personally, I would love to hear an amazing neo-classical type album. I think it would be awesome to hear them mix heavy modern progressive metal with classical roots and shredding. I know they took a classical approach on Six Degrees, however, there still wasn't much Vivaldi or Paganini spirit to it. I'm not suggesting an Yngwie knock-off. I believe these guys could do something really special and unique in this direction. But, regardless of what direction they take, I definitely think they are going to have to do something outside-the-box on their next album.

    Thanks!

I'd like to see more classical elements, wouldn't have to be the traditional instruments as such but in terms of structure would be great.

I'm a fan of quirks such as starting an album with the previous album's last track ending and stuff like that, hidden elements that make it more interesting to a listener.

I wish the next album to be as heavy metal as possible with a mix of Pantera, Dio, Deep Purple, lots of guitar and distorted organ solos, little progressive, and let Portnoy produce it. I hope DT releases it as blu-ray audio disk in stereo, 5.1ch and 7.1ch 24-bit 96KHz. And very much hope they pay huge attention to sound quality.

I'd love a neo-classical record. I'd also like another concept album like Scenes From a Memory, but this time basing the music on Under a Glass Moon.

I hope next album will be a concept, with complex song. Less instrumentals parts and more sing.

A concept album would be awesome. My vote goes out to that.
