I didn't even know these existed. I still have it on cassette does that count?
Mike seemed to get more creative/intense with each album. Was he showing off or just getting better? I knew his days in DT were numbered when Jordan joined. If only his name had started with a J he would still be with them. Darn J mafia
Mike would sound good playing a plastic bucket. I don't know enough to answer this one to you satisfaction.
Not a great DT song just a great song. What I mean is DT has mastered the epic. Early Rush did it, but seem to have forgotten how to be great. Forsaken is a great song, just doesn’t seem to fit what I know DT can and does do. Not all songs have to be 15- 25 minutes long, but I cannot think of a DT song over 10 minutes that I don’t love. The shorter one are the ones that just fall in to the above average ranking for me and opposed to the “MY G&* THIS IS THE GRATEST SONG EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” category.
“A Change of Seasons” -please let this be the new single on rock band-
No, it is one of my least favorite songs from DT. Ok, bottom 25%- I was not impressed with this album.
My rank for album FYI (My opinion)
1."The Ministry of Lost Souls"
2. “In the Presence of Enemies - Part I”
5. "In the Presence of Enemies - Part II"
6. "The Dark Eternal Night"
7. "Constant Motion"
8. "Prophets of War” (Hard to find a DT song I like less)
But still "The Dark Eternal Night" is better that 90% of the other music put out in the last decade.
Maybe not best, but what is your favorite
