I remember waiting in line to get I&W with a guitar playing buddy of mine. He turned me on the DT with that albumn, particularly Learning to Live. I have been hooked ever since, own damn near every albumn and single, seen em live six times now, and know every note played. The dynamic sound is what drew me in and has kept me for so long.
My favorite Drema Theater albumn is ussually the one I'm listening to right now. But, all kidding aside, Scenes from a memory is the albumn I can [u]always [/u]listen to. There is something about the emotional content of that albumn that makes it so appealing for so many different moods. I believe the creative process used for writing that albumn produced the some of the best material Dream Theater has made. A close second would be Six Degrees of Inner Turbulence.
