Get some meds. Music won't help with severe depression. If your meds aren't working, go back to the doc and get different or stronger meds. Depression is unbearable but can be treated effectively. Don't leave it to chance.
BTW, don't want to hijack this thread, but I went back to listen to Train of Thought recently and while I'm one of those guilty of rating this album fairly low on my overall DT album list, I have a lot of love for this album. It has some absolutely great music and classic DT on it, not least of all being ITNOG! Anyone else have more love for TOT?
It's great to find other lovers of SC!
I'm not the biggest fan of every track, but IMHO ITPOE 1 and 2 is DT's second best long prog piece after the epic 6DOIT (and it is very nearly as good). Both tracks are absolute must have prog masterpieces in my book, and ITPOE 1 and 2 is probably my second favourite DT track of all (6DOIT being my fave unquestionably). That alone makes SC a must have album, but then add MOLS, POW and Forsaken and you have one mighty fine album. Incidentally, I wasn't a fan of Foresaken until I heard it live, but it JUST WORKS!
As a whole my fave DT album is SFAM, but I have much love for SC. I simply can't understand those who rate it poorly. I guess we all look for different things in our music.

With Bridges being my most favourite.

These are the two things I have the biggest problem with.
