I would probably have to say for studio, Train of Thought. For me most of it is too "metaly". But it does have its moments especially in Endless sacrifice. and live I would say once in a livetime
more than Systematic Chaos.
SC is my least favorite and in fact unlistened to since the first time I listened to the Album. It's overly heavy and as the albums the whole thing is a blinding chaotic album. No other album so turned me off as this did. I've been a fan since I&W and this one greatly disappointed
wow watch 2 outcasts perform. Nah, I'll pass. I lost interest in Neal Morse when he left Spock's Beard and became a nutty ultra Christian type. Nothing against them or him but I'd prefer to hear music that is inspired by life than a book
The worst thing a band can do is to sound like another band. Do your own thing. If that happens to sound like someone elses work so be it. DT is pretty much original in its sound. Though they clearly have influences from older bands they create their own distinct sound
Many Years ago I went through a nasty divorce and became a recovering alcoholic. Learning To Live was and is my mantra.
All you can do is to learn to live with whatever is placed on your path.
my brother made a *cough* copy *cough* of IAW and Pull Me Under was the first. BTW I've since bought mutliple copies of IAW
speaks for itself
