Twenty years old. I will be twenty-one on January 8th. I have been listening to Dream Theater since 2002 when I was eleven.
I joined in 2003, but I had been lurking since 2002 when I became a fan of the band. When the board here was taken away, I signed up at the 5/8 website, and then when that changed, as it was no longer a Dream Theater website, but has actually changed its name to 5/8, I immediately signed up on www.dreamtheaterforums.org. On all websites, from the beginning, I have been WDADU.
Shit, I didn't even know. I'm gonna have to see if I can get out there to see that show. I asw them at Massey Hall in 2004 on the Train Of Thought tour, so I'm sure as hell gonna try to see them now.
I'm a drummer, too. But I am, however, a Tama user. I'm playing a Tama Stagestar currently, but I will be getting a Starclassic eventually, when I have two thousand dollars that I can spend haha.
I was ten when 9/11 happened. I was in fifth grade and near the beginning of our first class, another teacher came into the classroom told her that she needed to speak with my teacher in private. When my teacher came back, she told us what had happened. But we were ten years old; we had no idea what was happening--no idea of what the World Trade Center was and we certainly didn't know what a terrorist was. It wasn't until I got home that day and I saw the footage of the planes hitting the buildings and how closely my parents, and other relatives, were paying attention to it, and the newspaper headlines, TV specials, etc, that this was something huge.
