What was the hold up with the non-box set editions? Neither my ADTOE 2-disc edition or Opeth's new album have arrived. Couldn't find ADTOE in stores anywhere either.
The billboard charts come out every Monday or Tuesday I think.
I ordered the CD/DVD version months ago and got nothing on release day.
I figure I'll go buy the regular edition, hopefully day of release I'll find it on sale for 10 bucks, whatever. So I went to Wal-Mart, Target, K-mart, and Hot Topic and found no copies of anything DT at all. FYE had two copies of the CD/DVD version for $25, which I'm just not going to pay for something I've already bought. They had no copies of the regular edition. Those are the only stores within 30 miles of my house.
Tweeted RR and got no reply. Emailed Omega Order and got no reply. If they would've sent something on Tuesday saying 'Hey sorry, there was an issue, we apologize, etc." I wouldn't have cared, but since they did nothing it upsets me. The reason I got it there was because 'it's the official supplier, how could they have an issue?' and 'maybe since it's direct through them the band will get a higher cut or something.' Just trying to be a supportive fan.
Major fail on RR and Omega.
I would say it's like Christmas in September, but this is better than Christmas.
All the sites that have posted press releases have been the releases from the DVD. Amazon lists this Blu-ray as only having one-disc, while all the articles are still talking about the two-disc DVDs.
Would be nice to get a confirmation from the band on this. As they weren't on RR at the time I doubt they'll be involved.
