Dream Theater

I watched the whole show just to hear Dream Theaters name mentioned. I didnt hear it!!! I don't know if i missed something or if they didn't show them. Not only were the bands not in the same category of music but the talent level separating the two was night and day as well. Its like asking whats the better/faster car a Ferrari or a Kia!!! Dream Theater is my fav band ever. I have been following them for 15+ years. They are a band that I absolutely respect and am WOWed by. I am just a huge fan of music, Its my life! Im a very big fan of the Foo Fighters as well and have been since they existed, but come on now...cant we for once just give credit where credit is do and acknowledge music and musicians that go above and beyond what the norm is. Bands that don't play for the money or how someone tells them to..But plays for themselves, from their heart and soul with everything they have. One can clearly hear and see the difference between extraordinary talents and just average. I think its time to rethink who and what gets recognized. The Grammy's have become quite laughable! and by watching the show last night some of the acts were a joke! but hey if watching a silly circus act and rewarding it...is what its about then I'm glad Dream Theater is not apart of that.

The show last night was insane! Mike Mangini is amazing!! There was a sense of new found energy in the air. I have been a long time fan with each album holding a special place in my heart and each on is truly appreciated but i have to say that... A Dramatic Turn Of Events is phenomenal! The album takes you on a journey and leaves you breathless. All the guys played there hearts out as usual and James Labrie sounded better then ever, what a gifted and powerful voice. I got the meet and great package and it was very nice how they did it, the guys were also awesome and took the time to talk to you, as they always do.

Thanks DT for one hell of a show and yet another great concert experience.
P.S. COME BACK TO JONES BEACH!!!!!!!!!

Time to rock out in the city... can't wait to see the magic!

The New album leaves me speechless!!! You can feel the energy, passion, and love for what you guys do. Mike Mangini....you are an animal. I could not be happier with you being the new drummer for the next chapter in DTs story. You guys killed it, best album to date in my opinion!! Have the box set on order and i will see you guys in NY James... your voice is epic! John P and John M... Beastly is all i can say. Rock on forever guys!
